What affects the price of septic service?
Tank size, lid depth, access, hose distance, and what we actually find once the system is open. You'll see the scope and the starting range before work begins — and if anything changes it, you hear the explanation before the work, not after.
How fast can you get here?
Our trucks are stationed across the Charlotte metro — under 20 minutes from most neighborhoods. Same-day service is available whenever the situation allows, and backups get priority.
Do I need pumping or a repair? How do you know?
We don't guess from the driveway. The free inspection checks the tank level, solids, baffles, filter, and how the field is accepting water — then we show you what we found and which option actually fits. Sometimes the honest answer is pumping. Sometimes pumping alone would just rent you a few quiet weeks.
Why does my septic keep backing up after pumping?
Because pumping empties the tank — it doesn't fix a broken line, a failed baffle, a tilted distribution box, or a struggling drainfield. Repeat backups mean something downstream needs attention. Finding that root cause is our whole thing.
Do septic additives actually work?
Short version: no jug replaces inspection and pumping. A healthy tank gets the bacteria it needs from normal use, and some chemical additives can actually hurt the system. We'd rather tell you that for free than sell you a miracle in a bottle.
What does the free inspection include?
A walk of the system with the access points open where appropriate: tank level, visible components, and what's driving your symptom — explained in plain English with photos of what we found. No charge, no pressure, and no mystery invoice.

Pro Tips to Keep Your Septic System HAPPY
A few quick questions can catch a small issue before it becomes a backup, an emergency repair, or a failed drainfield. Tap any that apply:
Noticed any new warning signs?
Over the tank or drainfield: sewage or rotten-egg odors · soggy or soft soil · standing water · extra-green grass · settling or depressions · fixtures that keep leaking.
Did it start after heavy rain?
Since the storm: slower drains · gurgling toilets · a septic alarm · new odors · wet spots over the system · sewage starting to back up. Ease up on laundry and long showers while the ground is saturated.
Have a pump, alarm, or floats — unchecked for a year?
Mechanical components often need annual service based on the system design and permit — even when the tank isn't due for pumping yet.
Three years since your last inspection?
Do you know your sludge & scum levels, whether the baffles and filter are sound, or whether the lids and risers are keeping water out? A conventional system should be professionally inspected at least every three years.
Three to five years since your last pumping?
Timing depends on more than the calendar — tank size, household size, water use, garbage-disposal use, and actual solids all matter.
Has your household or water use grown?
More occupants, long-term guests, extra laundry, a new garbage disposal, added bedrooms — or just more frequent slow drains? The tank may be due sooner than its old schedule suggests.
